Samsung might be feeling mighty generous as it is giving away $50 in Google Play Credits for all it’s current and new Galaxy Note 3 users. The promotion should help maintain the strong performance of the company’s phablet flagship during the holiday season. Too good to be true? as always, there is a catch. This offer is only valid for US customers. Which means Galaxy Note 3 units bought in the US.
All the Galaxy Note 3 users who purchase their device on or before January 6, will be eligible to claim the offer. You have to register your phone number, IMEI and a few other details with Samsung, before you redeem your $50 credit. With the Play Store credit you can download apps, movies, music, games, books, magazines and TV shows without having to pay anything.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a slightly larger-screen stylus-equipped alternative to the Galaxy S4. It’s arguably a much more interesting phone than the Galaxy S4 too, although at £600 SIM-free it is really expensive. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the first device ever to feature 3GB of RAM. With it, Samsung makes the jump to 1080p full HD displays on phablets and it adopts a new textured back. The Note 3 features a larger than before 5.7” 1080p Super AMOLED display, but it retains a more compact profile. There is a 13-megapixel camera with improved flash, and of course an all new S Pen with improved functionality.
