Well, tech portals around the globe are continuously reporting about the numerous leaks and specification about the next Samsung flagship – the Galaxy Note 3. The latest leaks say that the device will be showcased on 4th September at Berlin at Samsung Unpacked Event 2. But thanks to some late leaks by SamMobile, it is now being said that Samsung will start shipping the Galaxy Note 2‘s successor, the Galaxy Note 3 phone next month, so it’s quite an early move from Samsung. According to the website, the first countries will get Galaxy Note 3 in the stores almost immediately after the unveiling, sometime between September 4 and 8.
There is no confirmation for this, but SamMobile has normally been accurate with this kind of information in the past, so we are inclined to believe them. SamMobile also notes that Samsung is dropping the 16GB model and only 32GB and 64GB versions of Galaxy Note 3 will be sold around the world. This is certainly a welcome move considering over half of the 16GB storage in Samsung Android devices is taken by the software.
In other related news, SamMobile also states that the Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch will go on sale beginning October. The specifications of the device is a mystery for all of us, but it was recently suggested that Galaxy Gear might come with Exynos 4212 dual core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 1.67-inch 320×320 AMOLED display and 2MP camera.
